Meet the Host of Pilgrim Lost

Tony Kriz

Tony is a collector of stories and experiences. He first walked the Camino de Santiago in 2018 as the newest expression of his own pilgrimage which has taken him across continents and between diverse and captivating communities.

His writing life involves books (including ALOOF and Neighbors and Wise Men), articles and playful profundity through his blog. He is the Creative Director for Children’s Literacy Project and a writer/director with It Matters films.

More important than his work as a writer, filmmaker and activist, Tony is husband to Aimee and father to three courageous and creative boys. He loves his neighborhood in North Portland, his kayak, his backpack and the unknown.
